'Root:ALPHA': A manga series that I initially created in 2018, before remaking it later on. Set in sci-fi/fantasy world that hides in the shadow of our own, that is until one day May Alvern, a human girl accidentally stumbles into it and upon a mysterious boy who is about to change her life forever.

'Few & Far Between': My first one-shot I completed for a Webtoon competition. Childhood friends who have never met, separated by a towering wall.

'Run to Him': A story told in one page. While sitting at a café alone one rainy night, a woman who has found herself in a loveless marriage and reminiscing about happier days, gazes out of the window when an old childhood flame walks by. In a desperate attempt to flee her suffocating life, she tears off the shackles of her wedding ring and runs to the boy who represented happier times.

-2021-

'I'll See You When it Snows': A one-shot I completed for the Silent Manga Audition, a story told without dialogue. A one-shot about finding your way home on a silent Winter night.

'Play God': A one-shot I created that was chosen as one of eight one-shots included in The Kato Anthology, a successful Kickstarter campaign that reached 200% of it's funding goal. A story about a singular room with two people inside. Did God create man, or did man create God? And how can you tell which is which when the only world you know are these four walls?

'The Shortcut': Another silent one-shot completed for the Silent Manga Audition. A story about walking alone at night through an unfamiliar shortcut.

-2022-

'It'll be Worth it in the End': Another Silent Manga Audition one-shot. When working late at the office during a snow storm, a man receives a phone call from the hospital that sends him into a panic. He must now try and make it there as fast as he can while encountering setbacks and pitfalls along the way. He will have to figure what really matters in his life and decide whether or not to throw it all away to get there in time.

'To be Blissfully Unaware': A one-shot I wrote after going for a walk one night. I took the opportunity to write my thoughts in the form of a manga as a type of therapy.

-2019 - 2022-

'Root:ALPHA': I decided to redraw my manga series after developing my art. I continuously worked on it while also creating one-shots in-between.

'Cheeo Waz 'ere': A one-shot I completed in 24 hours. A story about comparing the graffiti art of today to cave paintings of the past and how in the future, what we see as an eye saw now could eventually become a historic artefact.

'Infiltration': My latest entry to the Silent Manga Audition. A lone android girl wanders through the post-apocalyptic remains of a long abandoned city. Everyday she scours the city for spare parts to try and make herself appear more human and infiltrate behind enemy lines.

-PAGE REDRAWS-

Redraws compared with two pages from my previous one-shots to show my artistic development. New on the left, old on the right.

-UNFINISHED MANGA-

'The Deep': An unfinished idea for a one-shot inspired after the death of a childhood friend.

Calan Gaeaf A

'Calan Gaeaf': Meaning Halloween in Welsh. A horror one-shot about a group of kids who upset the spirits of a Welsh folklore one Halloween night.

-COMMISSIONED WORK-

A collection of commissioned work I drew as a freelance artist on Fiverr.

-2024-

'At the Head of the Rock': A semi-autobiographical manga about experiencing all of the hardships that come with growing up in forgotten valley during 1980's Wales.

'W.O.R.M - What Our Reality Means': A two page gag manga I made in a day.

-Step by Step Progress-

The Powerhouse - I worked as a animation apprentice for a year where I learned to 3D model. I used this skill to create a near 1:1 scale replica of a historic building near me called 'The Powerhouse'. I counted every brick, every bolt and every nut.

An example of how I created a complicated background by using perspective lines created from the environment around me.
